In the lead up to 2015’s Year of Food and Drink, Love Loch Lomond and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park invite you to a free event on Tuesday 11 November at Ardoch, near Gartocharn from 09.30am to 3.30pm. The event will include best practice speakers, local producers and opportunities to share plans for food and drink themes and activities in 2015.
The keynote speaker for the day will be Matthew Thompson. Matthew has a background in restaurant management and social enterprise which he has brought together as Chief Executive of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in Cornwall which inspires people through food and offers employment opportunities to young people.
In the afternoon there will be workshops facilitated by Scotland Food & Drink aimed at increasing revenue, sourcing locally and showcasing our food and drink offer.
This event is designed to inspire owners and chefs of restaurants, cafes and accommodation providers.
