An opportunity has arisen for a DM Planner with an aptitude for planning enforcement work. to join our Planning team for a minimum 12 month period to assist us during a period of particularly heavy workload. You will contribute to the successful delivery of the Authorities statutory planning enforcement function and you will be responsible for processing a varied case load of applications.
Degree qualified in planning or equivalent with corporate membership of The RTPI, ideally you will have a record of success in development management, with knowledge and experience of rural planning issues and a particular focus on the role of enforcement.
As someone who has experience of planning with strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Who also demonstrates sound independent judgement, you will understand how to approach, advise and influence both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to enforce planning control and efficiently manage a complex and diverse range of casework.
